Well, I'm sure you have seen the teachers wearing these things all over your local schools and colleges, but did you know that there is now an initiative to make lanyards more forgiving on the planet? That's right - you can now order and buy special custom lanyards that will not harm the soil or future of this great place we call home.

They may cost slightly more than a regular lanyards which has your logo or slogan on it, but think of the payback that will occur to your children and generations to come. Do they look or feel different? Not really. Only a trained eye could discern that the lanyards are made from items that we normally throw away and never think of again.

Lanyards are usually meant for organizations, occasions, and groups. However few realize that it can contribute substantially to personal uses as well.

 

For instance; lanyards could be of great use for preventing misplacement of spectacles or pocket watches and these days the most widely used item; the cell phones. It serves extremely well as chains to be hung around one’s neck with the spectacle, watch, or cell phone attached to it. Not only it will prevent misplacement but can be effective against pickpockets and burglars as well.

Such lanyards could be the traditional ones or something that looks spectacular with a little innovative decoration. Bids are widely used for such decorative purpose while the colors could also serve the purpose to some extent. Sometimes combination of a couple of colors could also make major difference in the appearance of lanyards.

It does not mean that lanyards need to be gorgeous or too loud in their appearances. On the contrary they could be simple yet elegant that could be catching the eyes of the onlookers pretty easily.

Simple lanyards would match extremely well with casual dresses as well as formal attire and are often the preferred one.
